ACR handles permanent, contract, interim and temporary full and part-time jobs across a wide cross-section of business sectors including HR, administration, secretarial, marketing, sales, new business development, account management, accounts, customer service, IT, analysts and graduate recruitment.

Project Overview

In close consultation with our Web Development team, we followed our in house process to architect a design and structure consistent with ACR's business objectives. We utilised several different processes and the website constantly evolved throughout the entire project as new ideas were cast through each building phase.

Features that the website included allowed visitors to register and save their details, save jobs to a basket to apply for more than one job at a time and also quick apply allowing visitors to apply for a job instantly without the need to register. One of the main focuses of the website was to change the way that jobs on the website were browsed to look more appealing and feel more usable, therefore we created an accordion style job listing whereby a visitor could browse all jobs within each category in one area without the need for next buttons or futher searching into different categories.

The end result was an accessible, SEO ready, easy to use site which immediately generated response from both client and our own internal team and is still recognisable as one of our proudest achievements. The navigation menu and sitemap allows end users to find the page they are looking for with ease and the entire site contains great functionality throughout.

Further to the new design created for ACR, we also developed our own 'Breeze' CMS alongside the website to allow ACR to update various areas of the system without the need of our involvement. This included areas such as the Latest News, Jobs, Featured Jobs, Case Studies and record statistics about all the jobs viewed and applied for.

As we also develop ACR's internal bespoke software to handle their Recruitment Management we also incorporated this within their procedures so Jobs applied for were imported into here so they can manage them without the need to visit the website.
