Managing Director
With a background in Software & Systems Development, Darren started developing applications just as the first PC's emerged at the age of 14. Having been involved with the Tandem Group of companies since their inception over 20 years ago he keeps an active interest in all areas of the business. Outside of the IT World, he prefers to be on a mountain eitherskiing, climbing, snowboarding or biking.
Technical Director
Tim heads up our Network Support operations and has been involved in IT support and maintenance since the mid 90's. His first computer was a Commodore 64 he purchased in the eighties but he has moved on since then. Still very much hands-on, Tim enjoys getting his hands dirty regularly and keeping his skills honed in all things Microsoft and Networks.Apart from computers, Tim get's his kicks from his motorbike and Real Ale and also likes walking up and down mountains for fun come rain or shine.

Retail Manager
With a background in Retail since 1976, Ray gained a keen interest in computers a few years later initially owning an Atari ST104. Ray is the consumer facing side of the business and enjoys meeting people, being of assistance and lives and breathes the company's core business values. Outside of work he enjoys Photography, Movies, Music and Motorcycling. Favourite movie, The Big Lebowski. Favourite Music Artists, Joni Mitchell, Linda Rondstant, Jackson Browne, Warren Zevon, all listened to or watched with a Southern Comfort & Coke.
Senior Web Developer
Tim's experience in commercial website design stretches over a decade. He has a passion for creating beautiful, usable websites which not only deliver for the client but equally as important, the end user. His favourite album is 'Is this it' by The Strokes. He enjoys playing football and badminton and if you would like to buy him a drink...its Jack and Coke with ice.
Web Developer
With years of web design experience under his belt, Ben decided to take the leap into the world of web development and join Tandem in autumn 2009. His enthusiasm and creativeness for web design continually motivates Ben and his colleagues to stay on top of the latest trends and best practices on the web. When Ben isn't developing websites you can usually find him on some pc game blasting his opponents into the next digital afterlife.
SEO Technician
Michael has been interested in computers since the start of his secondary education and has worked with computers since he left secondary education. Out of work he likes online games which involve teamwork and strategy and has a keen interest in upcoming features and additions to computer technology. During the weekends he enjoys watching football and rugby on the TV and going to the occasional game.
SEO Technician
Dan has been into computers since he was 14, always solving problems and fixing issues with them. With 3 years experience at college Dan jumped straight in to the IT industry by joining TSG Creative only 3 months after completing his National Diploma. After only being at tandem for 3 months Dan jumped in to the SEO Team where he was assisting Freddie and quickly picked up the role of SEO Technician. 8 Months later Dan is now a key member in Tandems SEO Team taking control of Client work to ensure that the client benefits highly from our SEO Strategies. Daniel also takes care of our SEO Social Networking to maximise coverage and website awareness.
Senior Application Developer
David has over 20 years software development experience working in both small organisations and in blue chip companies including BP and Lloyds TSB. His experience covers all aspects of software development from the gathering and analysis of business requirements through to coding and implementing quality, fit-for-purpose applications. He enjoys building good, long-term working relationships with customers and colleagues.
Financial Controller
She qualified as a Chartered Accountant with one of the top 6 accountancy firms. Since then she has also worked as an accountant / financial controller in the public and private sectors in large and small organisations, here and overseas. However, she prefers working in the smaller but dynamic organisations such as Tandem. Sue joined in May 2010.
Customer Services Manager
A down to earth Yorkshire lass and proud of it, her natural organising skills, and multi-tasking abilities, were honed doing a Business Management Degree as a mature student at 40. These have been put to good use since joining Tandem in January 2005 in a variety of roles and since the beginning of April 2011 her main focus has been on Championing Tandem Customers. If you have a query or an issue regarding any work done, or service supplied by, Tandem she is probably the best person to contact initially.
Commercial Director
Starting with a civil engineering degree, Robin has built up experience in several businesses, culminating in running his own successful IT company for 12 years. With his extensive knowledge of hardware, software and system design, Robin is able to help a business find the right solution for their I.T. needs.
Credit Controller
Initially starting work as a Financial Accountant she moved into the IT industry. Her knowledge and experience is completed with more recent involvement in Management Accounting roles.
PA to the Directors
Working as a Senior PA in the private and public sector, she has 30+ years experience working with Solicitors, local Government, HMRC and large Retail organisations. As a people person she considers customer service & satisfaction as a vital and integral part of her role!
Application Developer
Andy has had an interest in computers since the early 90s and since leaving school Andy has gone on to develop his software development skills in several languages including VB.net and C#.net. When he's not developing software Andy is witnessing Derby's mighty run up the championship to mid-table glory, and going to as many Rock and comedy gigs as his credit card can afford.
Website & Graphic Designer
As a passionate designer, creating visually attractive and informative website and print based designs are Grahams speciality. With vast experience and excellent skills in Design and Print, he is committed to effectively taking a project from initial brief through to final delivery, providing impressive bespoke solutions for his clients. Outside of the working atmosphere, he loves taking interesting snaps with his DSLR, cooking and baking inspiring loaves of bread, drinking barrels of real ale and giving the United side of Manchester his full support in the footy! Not to mention, keeping his wife and little girl constantly entertained! Not necessarily in that order of course.
